Start doing your life's best work.(sm) The LHI Director of Provider Management will direct a team in managing network development, provider relations, physician contracting, and network provider operations, including credentialing.Provides strategic and day-to-day operational management to include fostering a continuous improvement environment that supports both LHI's internal and external customers, while providing strategies to meet market growth and medical cost targets. Accountable for effective relations between PNM and LHI's network of providers and practitioners. Oversight of budgetary control within PNM. Develop strong business relationships within LHI to enhance service delivery for all contracts. Mentor leadership staff with a focus on professional development. Provides strategic planning, evaluation and execution of company and department initiatives.Primary Responsibilities:Lead a team of department managers in developing and executing strategic departmental initiatives Achieve company targets through detailed planning and aggressive contracting for primary care, specialty, and ancillary providers, as well as risk contract management Lead strategic and operational planning for provider network and facilitate the execution of the plan Review department metrics for provider and practitioner performance Oversee both internal and external Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Responsible for internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure compliance and quality service delivery Provide direction and guidance for hiring, training development and performance expectations Review documented processes and procedures to ensure compliance and provide recommendations for improvement as necessary Foster collaboration with program managers in support of contractual obligations and requirements Provide oversight to projects or process improvement initiatives Perform data analysis and develops specific actions to manage medical cost trends Manages Provider Network integrity and compliance Lead employee engagement and manager effectiveness efforts and ensure leadership team is focused on employee development

Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance or Economics or equivalent combination of education, experience and/or applicable military experience 10 or more years of experience in the healthcare sector 5 or more years of experience in provider network contracting and network development 5 or more years of experience in a leadership role Intermediate proficiency with MS OfficeIf not located in La Crosse, there will be up to 50% travel monthly to La Crosse office location with expectations to be on site for 2 weeksPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge and understanding of military protocol Careers with LHI.
