The Law School Relations Coordinator supports the Law School Relations Sr. Manager and acts as a liaison between the Firm and law school career services personnel and students. The Law School Relations Coordinator is responsible for: working with the career service personnel and student groups to increase the firm’s presence, promoting our diversity initiatives and publicize our diversity fellowship and assisting with the planning and implementation of summer program training and firmwide orientation. This position will require travel to select Goodwin Procter US offices, as well as traveling to represent the firm at recruiting events and visiting law school career service offices.

Responsible for working with the Sr. Manager to maintain and grow firm-wide relationships with law schools nationwide including strategic outreach, designing and organizing attorney/student programming, and increasing the student pipeline for recruiting purposes.
Initiate, plan, and track firm-wide recruiting initiatives to reinvigorate on-campus recruiting processes.
Create and maintain statistical yearly analysis to demonstrate success of programming.
Assist with annual NALP, Chambers, VAULT diversity and other survey updates.
Coordinate large-scale events at the firm for local student networking.
Work with Learning + Professional Development team to plan professional development and training programs for summer associates.
Research, compile, maintain, and review monthly finance reports for the Sr Manager, Law School Relations.
Work with marketing to maintain updated recruiting collateral and the external website.
Assist as necessary in firm-wide initiatives and ad hoc projects.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Three years of work experience, preferably in law firm or professional services firm. Prior law firm recruitment experience or law school career services experience strongly preferred.
Exceptionally strong organizational skills.
Must be able to work extended hours (if requested) and manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
Superior interpersonal and communication skills, professional demeanor and ability to interact effectively with all levels of firm personnel, as well as others outside of the firm.
Sound judgment and creative problem solving skills, and ability to respect, protect and maintain highly confidential and sensitive information.
Mastery of Excel functionality such as pivot tables and v-look-ups.
Willingness to participate in weeknight events required.
