As a Pathways Direct-Hire, you will be placed in a rolebased on professional experience and business priorities, focused on one of afew areas including: Asset & Wealth Management, Consumer & CommunityBanking, Commercial Banking, and Corporate & Investment Banking.
To ensure continuous development throughout the program,each candidate will receive mentorship, guidance, and support from yourindividual manager, program manager, veteran sponsor and many other influentialbusiness partners across the firm.
In addition to your business role responsibilities, as aPathways member you will participate in training programs, learning sessions,individual mentoring relationships, and networking events. You will interactwith JP Morgan Chase & Co. senior management and partner with a militaryveteran sponsor who will assist you with the transition from military life intoour organization. You can also become a member of our Veteran's BusinessResource Group, an employee group that supports veteran causes. And of course,you will have the strong support network of your fellow military veterancolleagues. The cohort format of Pathways will provide you with a network ofpeers to share experiences and a sense of community amongst fellow veterans asyou contribute to a business area aligned to your skillset.

PublicFinance: Public Finance is responsible for the Firm'srelationship with Public Sector clients. Our bankers create solutions for thecomplex financing needs of state and local governments, non-profit institutionsand certain corporations that issue debt in the tax-exempt and taxable capitalmarkets. Client teams are based regionally and by industry sectors (Healthcare,Higher Education/Non-Profit, Housing, Infrastucture). Enlisted/Junior Officer background and 4 years of experience
0-5 years of separation from military service
Demonstrated learning agility
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Forward thinking and able to work through complex and unpredictable circumstances
Ability to adapt to change and achieve positive business outcomes
Ability to participate in scheduled Induction training in New York from October 23-25
PreferredSkills: Thisposition is for a first or second year Analyst located in J.P. Morgan's NewYork office to work with a banking team. Issuers include various governmentalentities and non-for-profit organizations.
Courseworkin economics, public policy and/or finance is preferred. Work experience ininvestment banking, financial services and/or public policy is desirable.
Candidates must demonstrate academic strength,teamwork, written and oral communication skills, and a high energy level.
Youmust work well under pressure and tight deadlines, and be able to synthesizelarge amounts of information to develop creative solutions.
Youmust be adaptable, able to manage several projects simultaneously and assume ahigh level of responsibility.
