This position will report directly to the Executive Director, INTO Illinois State University (INTO ISU) with a matrix reporting line to the Vice President of Admissions of INTO North America.
INTO ISU is a joint venture between Illinois State University and INTO University Partnerships and is an initiative to increase the number of international students at ISU and to assist the university in meeting its internationalization goals.
The Enrollment Manager is responsible for the oversight and direction of the admission and enrollment processes for INTO ISU. This position develops and maintains relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to assist students and enhance their experience in applying and being admitted to INTO Illinois State University. The Enrollment Manager will work in close collaboration with the INTO North America United States Partnership Admissions, ISU Admissions, and Registrar’s office along with other relevant departments.
This position is critical to the growing and dynamic INTO Illinois State University Center. Duties and scope may change as the INTO ISU center and this role evolves from the start-up phase to continuous operations. We expect the candidate to help build the organization with a focus on achieving operational excellence.
Key accountabilities and duties
This is a valued role in a growing, dynamic organization so the responsibilities of this position may change and develop over time, but will include the following:
In conjunction with the INTO North America United States Partnership Admissions (USPA) will work closely to oversee application process in center, following all established applications and admissions procedures for INTO University Partnerships and ISU.
Develop and improve enrollment processes, and seamless progression and transition processes.
Work closely with INTO ISU staff to facilitate enrollment process from registration through progression.
Develop effective working relationships with stakeholders, including but not limited to university partners, INTO ISU colleagues, INTO’s global recruitment unit, INTO North America, applicants, students, agency representatives, and sponsoring agencies.
Work with the Assistant Director of Marketing and Recruitment to assist with various projects as required, including circulation of updated entry requirements, communications, payments, etc.
Act as primary liaison with the USPA for admissions and enrollment inquiries.
Implement admissions/enrollment processes and procedures for INTO ISU in collaboration with the USPA Director, INTO ISU Executive Director, and the ISU Director of International Admissions.
Oversee accuracy of student data in multiple student information systems.
Liaise with technical staff on information systems processes and procedures and work closely with the INTO North America Systems Integration Manager and University IT personnel on system problems and their resolution and ensure consistent reporting of data.
Support the flow of information between the academic, student services, academic support, admissions, and finance teams.
Ensure that accurate and relevant admissions/enrollment reporting is collated and is available to key stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
Collaborate with Admission Evaluators/DSOs on application processing.
Oversee the Program Development Process and the Salesforce updates.

Bachelor’s degree, and a minimum of three years’ experience in managing and coordinating academic and administrative operations
Experience using data systems to generate reports
Demonstrated ability work with a team
Experience with international admissions
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications and organizational skills
Computer and electronic communication literacy
Eligibility to work in and travel freely to and from the U.S.
Master’s degree in related field, i.e. international or student affairs
Experience living and/or studying abroad
Proficiency in second language other than English
Knowledge of Student Information Systems and/or SalesForce
