Third Party Risk Management is a global cross-functional initiative, inclusive of all Business Units and Legal Entities. The program requires significant involvement from the first line of defense (business) with on-going monitoring of their third parties activities to the second line of defense providing governance and oversight accordingly. There are regulatory requirements related to continuous monitoring and ongoing oversight of a Business Unit's Vendor population. Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) sets forth the requirement for business units within State Street to assess the risk management functions associated with outsourcing business activities by implementing controls to mitigate risks associated with the product(s) and/or service(s). State Streets usage of third party providers is an integral part of maintaining a competitive edge within our industry. These relationships can present various types of inherent risk that require management and monitoring throughout the lifecycle of the engagement(s)
Support business as usual activities for Risk Management and Issues Management related to the oversight and validation of the daily development of TPRM operational data as well as the daily creation and maintenance of TPRM issue data tracking processes
Support change the bank activity and business as usual activities for weekly and monthly TPRM program governance activities related to the Remediation Program documentation, monthly Steering Committee meeting, weekly Communications Group meeting and program training and communication
Support business as usual activities for Risk Management and Issues Management; enhance the Issue Governance process inclusive of tracking, resolution and escalation in line with the Corporate Issues Management Standard
Coordinate business as usual activities for Reporting and Analytics in support of monthly and quarterly BU Management reporting reviews, supporting content and weekly governance calls
Provide oversight and validation of Business Risk Committee reporting, develop and support TPRM program executive updates for MC and Board reporting
Education and Experience
8-10 years of work experience
Bachelor's degree and / or MBA degree
Experience with data management and analysis
Experience with governance reporting and issue management
Experience with risk management functions, Audit or Compliance
Experience with Business relationship management
Professional designation a plus (e.g. CRVPM, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, etc)
Skills / Knowledge
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
Proficiency in Tableau or other data visualization tools
Strong analytical skill set and decision making abilities
Strong organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and work within deadlines in a fast paced environment
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Results oriented ownership mindset with the ability to drive results within the Business
