GSK (Global Value Evidence and Outcomes department) and Rutgers’ Center for Health Outcomes, Policy and Economics (HOPE) are partnering to offer this exciting two-year fellowship in the highly sought field of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR). This program will build a solid foundation in clinical and economic outcomes evaluation, through a combination of hands-on industry experience at GSK (where the fellow will spend the majority of time) and academically-based research at HOPE, working with leaders at both sites. Leadership training, teaching and precepting opportunities, collaborative experiences with GSK’s Market Access and US Health Outcomes teams and shadow days at GSK’s Consumer Health and Vaccine sites will also be offered to enhance the learning experience. Graduates will have a strong understanding of the value of pharmaceuticals in global healthcare systems, and will be prepared for positions in the pharmaceutical industry, academia, pharmacy benefit management, or consulting. Coursework towards a Masters of Science in HOPE is a formal component of this program. Competitive stipend, tuition remission, medical and dental insurance, vacation and sick days are provided.
