It's an exciting time to be a part of Wells Fargo's NUPRM Credit Administration Team. There are 2 positiona available and are focused on building a strong foundation of credit acumen skills among all team members involved in the loan origination process by providing an enhanced level of credit policy guidance, education, and information.
As a NUPEO 2 (Market Lending Manager) in Wells Fargo's Credit Administration Team, you will be responsible for building a strong foundation of credit acumen in the Agency and Government teams supporting Distributed and Centralized Retail.
Other responsibilities will include:
Divisional quality oversight including delegation of authority, assessment of individual credit quality through monitoring of the various quality reporting/information, and determination of coaching strategies for quality improvement when required; monitor and manage identified production and underwriting risks at or below tolerance levels; coaching and development of credit acumen across the division; provide clear communication and education regarding all credit policy changes and clarifications. Provide subject matter expert guidance for program initiatives and development. Assist with escalation management and analysis of complex loan transactions
Key Responsibilities include:
Be a key contributor to the development of credit acumen skills for team members across the organization
Contribute to the design and delivery of credit acumen activities, case studies, and credit education material
Manage and lead various credit calls and meetings with Sales and Fulfillment partners
May be subject matter experts for new program initiatives and development

7+ years of lending experience
1+ year of mortgage operations experience
Knowledge and understanding of credit risk management
Knowledge and understanding of FHA and VA loans
Mortgage operations experience
Basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Other Desired Qualifications
Experience 3+ years of retail mortgage experience with underwriting policies and procedures, including investor guidelines and regulatory updates
Experience training, teaching, coaching other mortgage Underwriters.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
