Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.
The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated ability to drive strategic planning and timely execution as they are responsible to develop and implement strategy across Board & Fund teams in Wholesale Operations. This role requires strong change management ability, especially in times of great ambiguity, as this leader serves as primary change overseer for assigned functional processes, ensuring solutions are designed, integrated and controlled to improve effectiveness, limit risk exposure and create efficiencies as appropriate. In addition to key activities with stakeholders, this leader will have responsibility over a large staff either directly or through other managers, both on and possibly offshore, and will be accountable to leading those teams through transformative change in the Board & Fund space and the organization as a whole.

Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.
Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: customer service, loan administration, collections, or sales environment
7+ years of management experience
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

Experience managing managers across multiple locations
6+ years financial services experience
Demonstrated ability to manage risk across a large organization through identification of issues, root cause problem solving, and implementation of processes/controls
Demonstrated ability to manage a large team across various locations including off-shore locations
Ability to lead strategic development of functional process with a focus on mitigating risk and increasing consistency
Experience leading teams through transformative change through effective coaching and communication
Experience providing expertise regarding strategy, operations/financial management and building organizational effectiveness/performance
Extensive experience in formulating and approving policies, procedures which directly impact the business line and may affect the entire company
Lead efforts to provide increased operational efficiency, standardization, and outstanding customer service to bankers and external customers across all operations sites
Be a visible leader, developing strong partnerships with front office leaders, and providing outreach to internal customers and partners to effectively jointly serve our external customers
