The Total Rewards Strategy & Governance team develops and oversees the strategic plan for total rewards, designs compensation and recognition programs, and develops governance strategy to meet our philosophy and regulatory requirements. This open position is a key role on the team, providing strategic consulting support for line of business compensation partners and other key stakeholders on a broad array of compensation and performance management topics. This role will primarily support the International line of business, and will work with Compensation Consultants across various regions to ensure governance requirements are met.
This individual will work closely with partners in Compensation/Performance Management, HR, Risk, and Compliance to ensure LOB programs are compliant with applicable laws and internal and external requirements, effectively balancing risks and financial rewards in a manner that supports our customers, team members, and the company. This includes providing counsel and guidance regarding current and future needs, understanding regulatory requirements impacting compensation and performance management programs, and consulting with enterprise and line of business partners. A successful candidate will have the ability to take initiative and work independently, strong communication and problem solving skills, effective project management and interpersonal skills, experience in facilitating change management processes, ability to provide effective consulting to the business and partners, and a proven ability to work across matrixed teams.
Monitor and provide consulting/oversight over Incentive Compensation Risk Management and Performance Management governance standards to ensure compliance with requirements and alignment with programs
Be a subject matter expert on topics relating to Compensation & Performance management governance and consult with peers, HR partners and business leaders to effect quality outcomes
Lead development of responses to internal and external requests related to compensation and performance management risk and compliance, including disclosures, exams, information requests and other inquiries, in partnership with enterprise partners, Compensation, HR, Risk and Legal
Develop an understanding of a variety of incentive plans in order to partner with Compensation Consultants and managers to provide credible challenge, as needed, to the design of incentive plans and resolve problems of moderate scope
Ensure incentive plans and performance management outcomes have been documented to meet company, audit and regulatory requirements
Provide critical consulting and credible challenge, when needed, to key stakeholders
Facilitate job risk profiling, risk performance review and credible challenge
Serve as a representative for the LOB on various projects and initiatives related to compensation governance
Establish and maintain relationships with enterprise compensation, risk and legal partners to develop efficient and consistent practices across all functional business lines

5+ years of strategic planning experience
Consulting experience in compensation, human resources, accounting, or finance
Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements surrounding incentive compensation and risk management
Ability to present complex material in a digestible, consumable manner to all levels of management
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
Project management experience
Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment
Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
Strong collaboration and partnering skills
Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs
