Duties for the Fund Reporting Consultant 3 include but are not limited to:
Preparation and review of financial reporting (including annual and semiannual financial statements, semiannual SEC filings, Quarterly holdings for Form N-PORT) on behalf of the WF Funds.
Review of the Funds' custodian bank and fund accounting activities to ensure accuracy of all NAV calculations for the WF Funds.
Preparation of dividend calculations and declarations for the WF Funds and ensure their accuracy.
Monitor of cash and the line of credit for WF Funds.
Preparation of financial highlights for the N1-A regulatory filing
Daily failed trade monitoring.
Calculation of intra-day Money Market NAVs.
Participate in special projects, including but not limited to fund mergers, redemption in kinds and new product launches.
Maintain a proactive relationship with Investments, Legal, Compliance and other departments within Wells Fargo.
4+ years of investment accounting experience in the mutual fund industry
Extensive knowledge and understanding of administering mutual funds; including financial reporting, fund accounting, and operations
Basic knowledge and understanding of calculation of NAV
Knowledge and understanding of mutual funds, financial reporting, and regulatory filings
Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment where strong independent thinking skills are important
Knowledge and understanding of collective, mutual, or closed end fund processes
Knowledge and understanding of regulations governing the fund industry
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
