The Strategic Execution & Operations (SEO) Office focuses on achieving quality performance across our businesses to enable the company to execute more effectively against our regulatory priorities and further drive our transformation.
We are seeking a Strategy Consultant to support the ongoing build out and go-forward execution of the enterprise self-assurance program. This key contributor will develop and drive strategic initiatives aimed at improving operating effectiveness and efficiencies across the Self-Assurance capability. This role will be responsible for driving out strategic integration between key stakeholders and upstream & downstream partners as well as establishing appropriate governance mechanisms, key reporting indicators, and other routines to monitor program effectiveness.
Key responsibilities include:
Drive program effectiveness through the development, management, and reporting on key reporting indicators and other governance routines.
Drive strategic integration of self-assurance capabilities into and with other enterprise and group-level programs, functions, and capabilities.
Develop and implement standards, guidelines, tools, and templates for enterprise-wide SAA execution, partnering with Front Line, Independent Risk Management, and Wells Fargo Internal Audit to ensure alignment with key stakeholder expectations.
Identify and execute on opportunities and initiatives to drive consistency, effectiveness, and efficiency across the enterprise's self-assurance teams.
Partner with key stakeholders to identify and drive process improvements & automation across the control and self-assurance environment.
8+ years of strategic planning experience
Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives
Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
Ability to work across multiple lines of business leading large scale initiatives
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge and understanding of project management and implementation
Customer service focus with the ability to listen to customer needs and recommend solutions
Strong relationship management skills
Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
Other Desired Qualifications
Experience designing program effectiveness measures and governance routines
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
