Our Home Equity team serves customers in all aspects of applying for and receiving home equity loans and/or lines of credit across the nation. This organization provides service to customers from the point of application submission, all the way to funding.
The Operations Analyst 2 in the Home Equity Lending Management Operations department is responsible for researching, compiling, analyzing and reporting various operational data from multiple sources, including unit production, productivity and/or quality statistics. Under general supervision, this Operations Analyst will create and maintain databases, develop and perform queries both independently and at direction of management. May also define user requirements, perform user acceptance testing and/or troubleshoot systems-related operational issues. May assist ongoing production and work flow improvement efforts, manage small projects and/or small segments of larger projects. May develop and implement policies, procedures and training materials to assure compliance with government regulations and to maximize efficiency and customer service.
Duties may include:
Clearly communicating the overall process or transaction quality and providing feedback to appropriate contacts regarding identified material deficiencies or issues including identification of inconsistencies
Writing and maintaining procedural documents relating to Home Equity and line management
Working with management team to identify problems and improve service levels
Identifying and providing operational efficiency issues and performance measures
Analyzing risks and offsets and develops solutions for problems identified
Acting as a mentor to lower level team members; may assist with their development
Communicating company and unit policy, procedures, and practices
Researching/analyzing special projects as assigned

Other Desired Qualifications
2+ year of Home Equity or mortgage experience Knowledge and understanding of creation of basic charts and workflows using Visio
Demonstrated experience with the following systems: EDM, SHAW/Hogan
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including the proven ability to maintain reporting spreadsheets and formatting processing procedures
Experience writing and maintaining standard operating procedure documents
Familiarity with mortgage documents and mortgage processing experience
Demonstrated Home Equity Lending Management Operations experience and in-depth understanding/knowledge of Home Equity or Mortgage processes and products
Demonstrated experience working successfully with all levels of leadership while fostering teamwork within a call center environment
Demonstrated change management skills to effectively manage process and procedural adjustments
This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
