The Trade Service Representative 4 position is the highest level role within this positions job families. This position is expected to support and backup their manager as needed and will be leaned upon for leadership responsibilities. This role is with the Charlotte Trade Accelerate team supports strategic Commercial Banking (CB) and Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) customers with their global trade transactions. This role involves front-line exposure to the global trade environment, providing our customers the global expertise and network needed to effectively manage their cross-border trade deals.
Some responsibilities include:
Examination of complex and high value Export Letters of Credit documents, handling complex trade financing deals, and processing within multiple online operations systems.
Understanding of Letters of Credit documentation under UCP600 and ISBP rules, governing regulations, bank policies, international and domestic bank operations and credit risk.
Mitigate the financial and reputational risk inherent in any global trade deal by performing at the highest levels of aptitude, attention to detail, critical thinking, and risk management.
Extensive client servicing interactions and working with high-touch customers.
