TheTeam: As a member of the Client Services team, you will serve as a product generalist for the Capital IQ/Market Intelligence Platform. Working on a team is essential in this role, as this is a truly global team. Additionally, you will work with different teams inside the organization across many functional areas including Sales, Technology, Product Management, Content & Industry Research, etc.
TheImpact: As the front lines of the organization, your regular day requires you to answer client queries while showcasing your vast knowledge of our tools, data and the industries we cover. You’ll help accelerate the quality and timeliness of the data, improve operational efficiency to reduce error rates, and improve support survey sores to help maintain retention rates of our clients to drive revenue increases.

Responsibilities: As an integral part of the business, you are expected to make an impact right from the beginning by providing the highest level of data, functionality and product support to S&P Global clients.
Provide exceptional customer service to clients, distributors and internal SPGMI staff via phone, email, and web chats in the areas of industry, content and product consulting
Support a client base of firms across the Investment Banking, Private Equity, Investment Management, Financial Corporate, and Non-Financial Corporate segments which account for over $1.3 billion in annual revenue for S&P Global
Positively impact client perception of the Market Intelligence division while handling approximately 200 client cases each month
Successfully complete required certifications, evaluations, and 1-2 months of classroom style training covering a comprehensive curriculum focusing on a variety of areas including Capital Markets, Financial Accounting, CIQ/MI Platform, CIQ/MI Excel Plug-in, etc.
Conduct product demos for clients after successfully passing a demo certifications
What We’re Looking For:
An undergraduate degree is required. Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other related fields are preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
Team-player mentality with strong collaboration skills
Flexible to changes in a rapidly evolving environment
Interest in a career path within client support, relationship management, or sales
