Supports agency planning against Anti-Terrorism (AT) to include Operations Security (OPSEC), risk management, planning, training and exercise development, evaluations, resource application, and program reviews. Interprets government regulations and applicable codes and advises government management on the best course of action to ensure interpretation, implementation, and compliance with existing OPSEC policy and procedures. Coordinates the planning and development of the OPSEC Program with AT protection functions. Develops, and integrates AT and OPSEC specific programs, procedures and contingency plans based on a risk approach and proposes solutions that monitor, evaluates and enables resolutions to safeguard the workforce, reduce property loss, and support mission continuity. Oversees the development, integration and exercise of both AT and OPSEC plans and policy. Prepares and conducts AT and OPSEC briefings to educate agency personnel, prepares, coordinates, and submits position, and information papers in response to government requirements.
Valid Secret level clearance
3-5 years of experience working AT, experience in researching, writing and staffing documents (e.g., position papers, executive summaries, information papers, and other planning documents) and preparing and delivering presentations in support of the planning process.
Excellent oral and written communication skills to brief senior military leadership.
Knowledge, and experience conducting military briefings.
Familiarity and experience with the Department of Army facility physical security standards.
Familiarity and demonstrated experience with Department of Army OPSEC Program.
Functional knowledge of, and ability with Windows-based automation programs including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Share Point, Publisher, and Microsoft Outlook to prepare final briefing presentation for Branch Chief.
Experience in coordinating, planning, and executing conferences within the Army Conference guidelines.
Completion of AT Level I training.
Travel required as necessary - up to 15%.
AT level II certified.
Knowledge of AR 525-13 Military Operations Anti-Terrorism (AT).
Knowledge of US Army Continuity of Operations Program (CO-OP) policy and planning.
Completion of OPSEC Awareness course GS130.16
Additional Salary Information: Telecommuting 4/5 days a week currently.
