The Commercial Banking Data Enablement Leader is a critical role reporting to the Head of Data Strategy & Enablement. Through direct partnership with Data Management & Insights (DMI) & Wells Fargo Technology, He/She will lead the efforts to bring visibility and resolution to a number of data enablement challenges that exist across the lines of business to ensure more effective delivery of information to LOB's, transformation, & risk.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Consult Lines of Business to identify, prioritize, and define business requirements
Work in partnership with DMI (Data Management & Insights), EIT , & Architecture to determine, maintain and implement strategic roadmap for data availability needs to support the delivery of Commercial Banking Strategic and Transformational needs
Clearly and frequently communicate status and issues to clients on multiple projects to ensure expectations are met
Drive Sprints / Lead Scrum teams on prioritized business data availability needs
Identify and recommend sources, perform data assessment and profile of the data from multiple, cross business sources.
Collaborates horizontally across Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking LOB's to ensure accuracy and integrity of the data from the platforms used to assess business performance and identify growth strategies
Works with LOB's to understand how they are utilizing data (both internal and external) to identify best practices and provide feedback to DMI & EIT on potential changes to enhance overall data environment
Develops metrics and tracks/evaluates performance of programs, services and initiatives. Ensures plans/programs adhere to appropriate policies and regulations
Provide guidance to less experienced team members.

There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services
5+ years of leadership experience

A reputation for integrity, accuracy, consistency, critical thinking skill, business acumen, mastery of detail when required
Strategic leadership creating and achieving a desired future state vision through collaboration with partners and influence in individual and group goals
Proven ability to develop and implement a strategic plan within a business and lead it to completion
Possess strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex analysis and insights into relevant discussions with diverse leaders and organizations
SQL, SAS, or similar programming and Excel skills (8+ years)
Experience working with Wholesale data/information systems (e.g. WCIS, WDM, WCDIR, ProfitView) & other Wholesale specific systems of record
In-depth understanding of Wholesale relationship structures (WCIS)
Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships.
Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders.
Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
