Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital. Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) delivers a comprehensive suite of banking, capital markets and advisory solutions, including a full complement of sales, trading and research capabilities, to corporate, government and institutional clients. This position is within the Business Execution Services team (BES) and will lead multiple strategic change initiatives aligned to the priorities of CIB and enterprise efforts. This work includes leading the definition of target state solutions in alignment with business objectives, driving decision-making, working with process owners to determine impacts and key deliverables, and leading execution of the delivery across impacted areas.
Responsible for organizing and directing all aspects of delivery for a set of complex change initiatives (plan, design, and execute). Change initiatives include, but not limited to: system implementation/upgrade, vendor assessment/selection, new product design, regulatory compliance and issue resolution, process improvement and redesign, international expansion
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results to meet business demand and expectations
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo strategy/policies and business line objectives.
Conduct requirement gathering and business analysis activities across multiple asset classes (Fixed Income, Equities, etc.)
Responsible for full management over a set of project deliverables
Develop, implement and oversee governance routines for project execution, management reporting and business readiness
Ensure that change management (communication & training) and user experience (adoption) is a focus of every project undertaken
Responsible for pro-actively identifying potential risks when implementing change, along with developing a mitigation strategy and plan.
Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders across multiple functional areas (business, technology, risk, etc.)
Develop metrics and track/evaluate performance of projects, services and initiatives.
Work with impacted areas to understand complex problems. Focus on bringing issues and risks to resolution; identifying solutions and developing clear options and recommendations that drive decision making
Use problem solving skills to develop custom approaches and solutions (process improvement, change management, product management, projects, etc.) that are tailored to the problem
Provide subject matter expertise on applicable product, processes and applications and identify extensions of Corporate & Investment Banking capabilities to other areas
Possess detailed understanding of internal policies/procedures, leading process and change methodologies, regulation, support infrastructure complemented by a general capital markets skillset
