Applies knowledge to resolve complex problems for military worth analysis and systems performance alaysis and uses judgment in recommending solutions, understanding consequences of decisions.
Uses scientific methods and techniques in formulating and conducting research to include evolving technology concepts in virtual environments, engagement simulation, mission simulation, campaign simulations and war gaming.
Coordinates and collaborates with DoD agencies, other government agencies, industry and academia in complex technology areas.
Leads development and transition activities based upon extensive customer interactions and appropriate partnerships.
Leads development and execution at a broad level to advance the labs technology mission.
ProProvides data and written analysis for input to publications; obtains inputs from technical leads, formats appropriately, and submits final products for review and publication (e.g. technical memos, reports, presentations, and execution plans).
Coordinates resources for research and generates relevant documentation to ensure funding is accepted and managed properly.
Performs duties in a professional, responsive and cooperative manner in accordance with stablished policies and procedures.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in operations research; or a degree with at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus. NOTE: You must submit a copy of official transcripts.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade (GS-13) level or equivalent (DR-02) (grade level, pay schedule, pay band, etc) and is described in detail in my resume. Creditable specialized experience includes: Development of innovative methods for strategic planning analysis integrating assumptions, constraints, data sets, and analytic frameworks to inform strategic plans, goals, and processes. Lead, plan and execute campaign analyses and wargame studies to examine alternative force structures in terms of strategic-level goals, effects, risks, and measurements. Experience leading multi-disciplinary analysis teams. Experience employing analytical tools and considering alternatives and changes to current plans for military operations at the mission, campaign, and strategic levels.
