Job Description Partner with Relationship Managers and Sales Representatives to identify and qualify new sales opportunities, close new business, and cultivate existing client relationships in connection with our proprietary financial analysis product tools focused on credit assessment, credit origination, expected credit loss (ECL, CECL), modeling, model risk governance, stress testing, and capital planning. Provide support throughout the sales cycle, including creating and improving demonstration environment(s), performing detailed product presentations, providing product functional and technical expertise, completing requests for information/proposal (RFI, RFP), and specifying and executing client prototypes and proofs of concept. Serve as a knowledge expert to explain the conceptual and practical value of our financial analysis solutions to a wide variety of audiences including senior management, lending, credit administration, and information technology personnel. Work with Product Management and Marketing to provide client and market feedback and keep abreast of the latest trends in finance and risk in order to provide proactive feedback and ideas to continuously improve the Moody's Analytics financial analysis suite of solutions.
Perform sales related activities as needed:
Conduct in-depth, articulate discussions and demonstrations as they relate to Moody's Analytics financial analysis products
Engage in customer-facing meetings to gain perspective on client needs and determine business and technical requirements that will be used in providing solutions
Seek customer acceptance of Moody's Analytics products by explaining and/or demonstrating cost reductions and operational improvements
Apply experience and/or subject matter expertise within multiple areas of the financial industry including, but not limited to: Commercial Banks, Credit Unions, Farm Service Agency, Farm Credit Services, Corporates, Insurers
Apply experience and/or subject matter expertise within multiple credit disciplines including, but not limited to: Commercial & Industrial, Commercial Real Estate, Agriculture, Construction, and Small Business
Apply experience and/or subject matter expertise in the areas of lending including, but not limited to: commercial credit assessment, commercial credit origination, expected credit loss, credit risk modeling.
Use technical expertise to explain key concepts such as APIs & software integrations, software architecture, and software configuration to technical and non-technical audiences
Identify and document product enhancements, understanding how proposed changes to existing functionality would impact the overall product
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Commercial & Industrial, Commercial Real Estate, and/or Agricultural lending
Strategic, analytical, operations-focused, able to recognize market opportunities
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a high pressure, deadline-oriented environment
Ability to comprehend and apply abstract concepts
Ability to work productively and cooperatively in a structured and rigorous team environment
Ability to travel up to 75% in the future
