Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.
Under minimal supervision, incumbent provides all L/C services to customers. These services include: opening and amending L/Cs; Processing of Export Letter of Credit documents; processing payments; informing customers of problems or discrepancies; and inputting L/C information into computer system. Fully competent in all functions, but depending upon organization structure, may perform some or all of these functions. Requires the ability to handle somewhat complex, non-standard and time-sensitive L/Cs. Assists with distributing, reviewing work, training and guiding less experienced collection team members.
The role is also expected to develop full document examination capabilities and will provide examination support when multiple examinations are required.
