General Overview The Benefits Center of Excellence is responsible for PHS-wide strategy, design, and compliance of Partners Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, and Life Insurance Plans. Under the direction of the Health & Welfare Benefits Manager, the A analyst will provide analytical support to the Health and Welfare team. Principal Duties and Responsibilities • Provides analytic support to the Manager of the Health and Welfare Plans • Research benefits plan issues and regulations • Provide data analysis support and interpretation with limited supervision • Ensures data is available to respond to routine and ad hoc data requests • Maintain positive relationships and work collaboratively across the system and with Shared Services team • Address routine and ad hoc requests for plan cost information. • Support compliance, government filings and financial audit activities • Support annual open enrollment activities • Use/s the Partners HealthCare values to govern decisions, actions and behaviors. These values guide how we get our work done: Patients, Affordability, Accountability & Service Commitment, Decisiveness, Innovation & Thoughtful Risk; and how we treat each other: Diversity & Inclusion, Integrity & Respect, Learning, Continuous Improvement & Personal Growth, Teamwork & Collaboration • Other duties as assigned Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in demonstrated experience is required • Must have 2 years related professional experience, preferably in an HR environment • A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements Skills, Abilities and Competencies • Demonstrated ability to work independently and the ability to support ongoing relationships with colleagues and to work collaboratively with team members • Must be a self-starter with the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions • Strong time management and project management skills • Strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to question/challenge assumptions in a constructive manner • Must possess strong skill in all Window-based office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) plus an ability to work with relational databases • Proven application of conceptual and analytical skills • Must appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information • Possible local travel to Partners sites EEO Statement Partners HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer & by embracing diverse skills, perspectives and ideas, we choose to lead.
