General Overview The HR Operations Program Manager will be the primary liaison between the organizations within their scope and the HR Operations & HRIS teams to: • Effectively communicate with key customer contacts • Monitor performance to ensure high-quality delivery of all HR Operations and HRIS services • Stay connected to the business and leadership of each of the organizations they support • Request feedback and improvement suggestions from key stakeholders • Work with the appropriate individuals and groups when service issues arise to escalate the issue as appropriate, coordinate resolution of the problem, conduct root cause analysis, and communicate with affected parties • Work as a member of the HR Operations team on projects and ongoing activities as assigned Principal Duties and Responsibilities • Maintain an in depth working knowledge of the services offered within HR operations & HRIS and how they should be managed at the local entities. • Lead initiatives that will positively impact operational efficiency at each entity while creating consistency and reducing duplication. • Operate as the liaison between HR Operations, HRIS and the local entities. • Influence the design of new procedures and policies within HR Operations and HRIS to meet the needs of the entities represented. • Partner with HR operations function to oversee the metrics measuring the services provided to their business and help drive enhancements. • Drive new initiatives, participate in process improvement, leverage automation opportunities and provide expertise regarding all service offerings in operational model. • Partner with HRIS leadership by working on initiatives to ensure a successful migration to a new HRIS. • Support changes at local entities by utilizing change management strategies to ensure effective and efficient rollout of changes. • Has dotted line oversight of local HR Operations staff and partners with HR Operational leaders to complete performance reviews for onsite operations staff. • Oversees regulatory audits as applicable (Joint Commission, CMS etc). Partners with local HR staff to ensure successful outcomes. • Use/s the Mass General Brigham values to govern decisions, actions and behaviors. These values guide how we get our work done: Patients, Affordability, Accountability & Service Commitment, Decisiveness, Innovation & Thoughtful Risk; and how we treat each other: Diversity & Inclusion, Integrity & Respect, Learning, Continuous Improvement & Personal Growth, Teamwork & Collaboration • Other duties as assigned Qualifications • 8 years of HR operational management experience • Bachelor's degree or relevant professional experience • A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements Skills, Abilities and Competencies • Possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with cross functional teams including staff at all levels of the organization. • Well-honed presentation skills to effectively represent HR Operations. • Ability to successfully negotiate and collaborate with others of different skill sets, backgrounds and levels within and external to the organization. • Strong problem solving and negotiation skills. • Ability to effectively conduct meetings, both formal and informal. • Requires minimal direction from leadership and possesses the ability to learn quickly.
