General Overview The Mass General Brigham Kronos Timekeeper role is an entry to mid-level position responsible for daily time reporting and reconciliation for one or more institutions in the MGB Healthcare system. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Our objective is to ensure all employee time is coded correctly (based on institution pay policies) in the Kronos Workforce Management sytem. The Time & Attendance Rep has the first line of responsibility to guarantee a seamless payroll process resulting in correct pay to our exempt and non-exempt employee populations. This responsibility brings with it the most important contribution to employee engagement and satisfaction in our healthcare system. The Mass General Brigham Kronos Time & Attendance Rep role includes: • Inputting employee schedules • Inputting or updating time records • Processing historical time adjustments • Supporting HR Leadership on how the system configuration aligns with their pay policy • Corresponding with managers requesting time exception adjustments and processing • Track all issues and requests in the HR Customer Relations Management (CRM) system In addition, the Time & Attendance Rep role may include specific support duties for the institution(s) they support that may include additional responsibilities such as: • Managing the relationship with institution leaders, HR Operations and HR Business Partners • Being the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on pay policies • Handling escalations • Participating in policy change discussions • Completing audits on the usage of different time allocation (pay codes) • Additional duties as assigned Qualifications Qualifications • A Bachelor's degree and/or 2 years Kronos experience or 2 years HR benefits administration experience. • A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements • A technical aptitude and interest in the next generation of software services Benefit administration experience (specifically Leaves of Absence) • Technical aptitude - this position requires confidence in using various applications • Must be comfortable with, and very knowledgeable of, MS Office applications • Exposure to the Kronos Workforce Central or Workforce Dimensions suite of products • Payroll knowledge a plus - understands basic pay policies and procedures • Knowledge of the MGB Healthcare system is a plus • Prior Mass General Brigham timekeeping or scheduling knowledge a plus Skills, Abilities and Competencies • Ability to show empathy while addressing sensitive pay issues • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work • Ability to keep meticulous records with sensitive employee time and pay requests • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and employees • Ability to meet daily/weekly deadlines • Sensitive to confidential pay matters • Analytical ability to review information and identify trends • Candidates must understand, embrace and act on the value of documentation - specifically, writing and publishing knowledgebase solutions for end users and/or peers • Candidates must possess an unwavering commitment to service - we expect nothing but the best service and support for our customers: our clinical, operations, and administration employees • Outstanding communication - our customers have varying degrees of system and policy knowledge • Empathy - the ability to support our customers with kindness and understanding • Experience in, or desire to grow within, Human Resources • Ability to listen and learn but comfortable recommending a different perspective, approach or idea • A team player who actively participates within the department • Possible local travel to Mass General Brigham sites EEO Statement Mass General Brigham is an Equal Opportunity Employer & by embracing diverse skills, perspectives and ideas, we choose to lead.
