Want to help the pets that are most in need? want to become part of a dynamic team? Interested in animal cruelty investigations? Love to help pet owners? Then we are the place for you! Osceola County Animal Services is looking for full or part-time veterinarians to perform spay/neuters, examine and treat sick, injured, neglected, and abused animals, testify in court, train and mentor staff, oversee the shelter health program, and more!

Job offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for part-time, min. 20 hours per week or $10,000 for full-time. 

Perform surgeries including but not limited to spay/neuter;

Examine incoming pets

Create treatment plans for sheltered pets

Help us provide the best care possible

Testify in animal cruelty cases

Perform necropsies

Oversee shelter health

Additional Salary Information: Salary is somewhat negotiable and full-time employment offers an attractive benefits package including sick, vacation, holiday, short and long term disability, vision, dental, and health care, and more.

Osceola County Animal Services is an exciting and progressive animal shelter. We receive an estimated 4,000-5,000 animals per year, including dogs, cats, livestock, exotics, and wildlife. We offer a variety of services to our community including pet retention, free ride home for loose pets that are wearing identification, education, community cat options, TNR, and so much more.
