Instructor - Respiratory Care (Fall 2021 Tenure Track)

This full-time, ten-month tenure track program faculty position is in MVCC's School of Health Science. Responsibilities include leadership, teaching classroom and clinical sessions in a CoARC accredited, associate degree program.

All positions require student advisement and committee responsibilities, a variable teaching schedule, a willingness to develop curriculum, alternative instruction delivery as assigned and CoARC accreditation standards. Required qualifications include:
A valid New York State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license.
An Associate in Applied Science degree in Respiratory Care AND a baccalaureate degree in respiratory care or a related field.
A minimum of four (4) years' experience as Registered Respiratory Therapist with at least two (2) years of recent clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist including adult and neonatal or pediatric critical care.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) credentials.
Travel to off-campus clinical sites is required.
