The Impact You'll Make in this Role Innovation is a fundamental part of 3M's DNA. This role will focus on supporting the effective commercialization and adoption of new products developed by the Health Information Systems Division of 3M. Here, we are committed to improving health care by creating more time to care, eliminating revenue cycle waste, and leading the shift from volume to value-based care.
The New Product Marketing Manager will be accountable to design and implement key messaging, value propositions, and strategic marketing plans. They will collaborate with business unit stakeholders to ensure the marketing plans support strategic vision and divisional financial objectives. They will also work to support sales teams to drive effective commercialization.

Effectively guide new products through the new product introduction process.
Discover and communicate critical customer insights resulting from effective market research.
Leverage market intelligence to develop a comprehensive, strategic marketing plan for new product launches.
Lead development of marketing messaging and content: build, refine and clearly articulate compelling messaging, positioning, and differentiation for new products within the revenue cycle solutions portfolio.
Utilize subject matter expertise in the company's revenue cycle business to create and project manage a diverse range of high-quality marketing assets, such as brochures, case studies, white papers, email campaigns, website content, sales enablement tools, etc. High-quality, high-velocity and consistent performance is essential.
Create and execute persona- and workflow-based marketing tactics, with solid understanding of buying decision makers as well as end users.
Manage the execution, reporting, follow-up, and refinement of marketing plan tactics.
Support and work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Sales, Marcom teams to support strategic alignment and marketing execution.
Develop competitive analysis, document, and share results with internal stakeholders - develop a strong understanding of the market segment and players.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or higher from (completed and verified prior to start) an accredited university OR High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)from an accredited institution and a minimum of ten (10) experience in Healthcare Information Technology) in lieu of the Bachelor's degree education requirement
Three (3) years experience in Product Marketing, Marketing Management, Marketing Communications or Strategic Marketing or equivalent fields
Two (2) years in marketing healthcare software solutions to hospitals and health systems
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Solid understanding of the health care revenue cycle including workflows and concerns, etc.
Understanding of clinical documentation improvement (CDI), medical coding, and compliance goals, needs and workflows
Experience in leading or commissioning customer research, market assessment, and competitive analyses
Experience in development of thought leadership and industry influencers
Experience in working with product development teams
Direct customer engagement experience
Sales enablement and sales support experience
Key characteristics include strategic thinker, creative, assertive, collaborative, action-oriented, clear writing and messaging ability, fast learner, strong business acumen, outstanding influencing skills and excellent presentation skills.
Broad knowledge of the healthcare space and healthcare IT industry.
Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with an emphasis in marketing
Travel: Occasional travel may be required up to 25%
