The Role The Director, Directory Services & Security will be responsible for the implementation and governance of the overall Identity Management and Directory Services environment at S&P Global. This role applies advanced IT concepts and governance techniques to function as the technical expert for this domain area.
The incumbent will provide overall architectural oversight and design direction as well as managerial support to a team of engineers focused on multiple technical initiatives. The incumbent will play a hands-on role driving innovation in critical business initiatives. The incumbent will report to the Senior Director, Digital Workplace - Information Protection.

You will provide technical and architectural security guidance in the area of Identity and access management to product/project teams and provide professional advice to internal and external parties. You will be required to identify opportunities to enhance security controls, evaluate and or design new technologies, processes, standards and frameworks while ensuring frictionless user experience on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities Key Accountabilities:
Provide technical and operational governance across the Directory Services environment
Work closely with security architects and risk and compliance teams to ensure security best practices are implemented.
Provide managerial support to the engineering team.
Provide support for enterprise projects and initiatives.
Identify and drive areas of service improvements in conjunction with a managed service provider.
Utilize a consultative approach to identify, drive, and deliver technical transformations.
Own the realization of both product and technology roadmaps for the engineering teams.
Retain a hands-on approach to solving difficult business and technical challenges with the team
Work closely with the business to understand both opportunities and requirements
Define and drive development efforts working collaboratively with other platform leads, key stakeholders, and strategic vendors
Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies
Evaluate technology and vendor strategies to meet future needs in the organization.
Provide status updates and participate in regular meetings with senior leadership.
Compensation/Benefits Information: S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $134,400 to $279,200 . Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. Bachelor's degree in computer science and/or 8+ years of relevant experience Identity Management and Directory Services
Minimum of 3+ years' experience in a leadership role (preferably as a people manager)
Minimum of 5+ years' experience in Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, LDAP Directories, AD Sync, ADFS, SAML
Minimum of 3+ years' experience in Role Based Access, Privileged Identity Management, Privilege Access Management
Proficiency in Powershell scripting
Modern Management platforms - Hybrid Domain Join, Intune, Conditional Access
Experience writing and evaluating technical and functional requirements.
Experience partnering with Information Security in the design of sound solutions and processes
A demonstrated record of leading, motivating, and mentoring a team of engineers
Able to influence stakeholders on complex technical issues
Ability to communicate and build relationships with stakeholders across the business.
