The Impact You'll Make in this Role As an Inside Sales Manager for ISMC End-User, Converter Markets, and CMSD, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Meet and exceed sales targets and driving the overall development of team
Drive profitable product sales through the assigned Inside Sales team
Drive a strong understanding of customers, competitors, and markets
Create a working sales plan with strategies and tactics to achieve annual sales forecast
Oversee, drive, and manage the successful execution of the market segment and business strategies and plans to profitably grow Industrial & Safety Markets within the assigned area
Directing, coaching/mentoring, and developing Inside Sales Representatives and providing feedback for continuous improvement
Manage the profitable growth of end-user customer sales revenue and market share
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Five (5) years of combined sales and/or marketing experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
MBA or Master's degree
Area Sales Manager experience
Three (3) years of supervisory experience in sales and/or marketing
Proven ability to deliver results
Experience in a matrix environment or other complex organizational structure in a private, public, government or military environment
Experience with direct customer contact
Experience managing distribution
Advanced selling skills, a strong understanding of the sales processes, and a value-selling mindset
Strategic, analytical, and creative thinking skills
Position will be located at our corporate headquarters in St. Paul, MN. Remote locations may be considered until work from home restrictions are lifted.
Travel: May include up to: Minimal travel is anticipated, up to 15%
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
