The UK&E M&G plc Risk function is responsible for effectively advising and challenging key stakeholders, challenging risks effectively and proactively, and adding value through providing enhanced business insights to support the delivery of customers' long term needs. This secondment will have specific focus on supporting the delivery of the Solvency II Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) processes and reports and alignment of these activities to the Business Planning cycle for M&G plc, PAC and PPL. It will involve liaising with teams inputting to the ORSA, production of high quality ORSA reports and liaising with senior stakeholders to ensure sign offs through governance.

If you're responsible for any legal agreements with third parties then you must make sure these are managed according to the Managing Contractual Relationships Framework. You'll find your responsibilities as an expenditure authoriser set out in the financial procedures manual for your business (e.g. Prudential UK & Europe, PIA, PPMS)

You will have:
Experience of report writing and drafting board papers
Experience of developing policy/ position statements to tight deadlines and/or experience in monitoring activities
Experience of liaising, influencing and negotiating effectively with internal parties and external parties
Experience of analysing and interpreting complex rules and regulations and applying such knowledge to provide solutions to business problems and issues.
Some experience in communicating the practical impact of regulatory obligations

Working knowledge of UK life insurance products and pensions products, market, competitors and distribution channels
