As the enterprise Data Prioritisation and Innovation Lead you will bring together business and technology stakeholders to test new ideas and concepts using your data expertise in order to prioritise for value.
Key work level accountabilities for this level of role:
Critical role in translating strategy into implementation plans, influences and contributes to the strategy
Ensures successful implementation of defined strategy
Typically leaders of teams, or technical roles will lead the provision of advice across an area of expertise

Key accountabilities for this role:
Establish and lead the enterprise Data Prioritisation and Innovation team
Develop and own Data Vision and Target Operating Model; Roadmap to achieve and associated OKRs/ business case which shows how M&G plc can unlock value from its data. Work closely with the architecture teams to ensure alignment
Work with the business to establish and manage an enterprise wide Data Delivery backlog (change and exploitation) and embed prioritisation governance
Establish, embed and run a Data Innovation Lab to use emerging data technology tools and techniques through agile test and learn approaches to prove value cases
Establish Value Realisation Measurement
Raise awareness and drive the importance of data (in line with the Data Vision and Strategy) across the organisation.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment and customers outcomes.
Key knowledge, skills & experience:
Experienced data professional
Led data science/ data innovation teams
Practical experience of agile delivery techniques and is aware of approaches to scale agile delivery across teams/functions
Business architecture experience including TOM, delivery roadmaps and business case measurement
Aware of data technology delivery and exploitation practices and practical challenges to successful execution
Demonstrates strong stakeholder management and ability to lead and influence decision making across an organisation
Possess strong business and commercial acumen skills
Can demonstrate the ability to plan ahead and anticipate consequences/ trends
A credible thought leader able to inspire others through their knowledge and passion
