The Technical Services Assistant ensures that the Library provides access to the best contemporary and traditional resources. The Technical Services Assistant joins a responsive team committed to strong customer service to connect people and ideas. This full-time, 12-month position includes supervision of one or more library student workers.
The Technical Services Assistant accurately orders, receives, catalogues, and maintains records of materials in multiple formats, both print and online.
Education / Experience:
Bachelor' s degree AND a minimum of 2 years of directly related work experience within a library setting or detail-oriented position An equivalent combination of training and experience, such as assisting with the creation of documentation and/or training others, may be considered as a substitution for the required education and experience listed above. Preferred: Experience with batch loading, report generation, and/or database maintenance Library experience Supervisory experience
