The Impact You'll Make in this Role The person hired for the position of Supply Chain Analyst will join the 3M Tilton facility located in Tilton, NH and support production planning operations. The person will be responsible for managing the end to end supply chain while ensuring customer requirements and supply chain metrics are attained. The person will also be responsible for supporting growth of Auto Electrification products in the facility.
As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Manage the supply plan by purchasing raw materials, scheduling production and managing finished good inventory for multiple manufacturing areas
Responsible for coordinating with other 3M locations, external suppliers, and various business teams to meet service, cost, and Inventory targets
Develops and maintains operating rhythms to ensure smooth supply chain operations, aligning supply with demand
Provides planning analysis to support decision making
Publishes and presents service and inventory metrics, results, and gap analysis
Actively manage working and non-working inventories in assigned businesses to maintain compliance and achieve inventory investment targets
Identify and implement supply chain process improvement projects
Business transformation readiness activities and projects as assigned
Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Two (2) years of Supply Chain/Logistics experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
A Bachelor level university/college degree is required. Masters is Preferred if obtained
Minimum of four (4) years of Supply Chain experience
Working knowledge of theories and practices, typically applied to one discipline, such as supply planning, warehousing, transportation, inventory/materials control, import/export, etc. Possesses knowledge of assigned area of responsibility and continues to expand knowledge of general 3M structure, organization, and business
Knowledge of computer programs and corporate systems relevant to the assigned area of responsibility is preferred.
SAP knowledge/background strongly preferred
Travel: May include up to 5% domestic
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
