The Team: The Desktop Product Management team works in close collaboration with our clients and internal teams and divisions -Sales, Marketing, Account Management and Client Services, Content, and Technology.
The Impact: The position plays a key role on the S&P Global Platform Product Management team and for the organization as a whole. The Associate Director role offers exposure to all S&P Global divisions and clients, and opens doors for tremendous career opportunities with S&P Global. In the role, you will be responsible for building and growing the global product management team for the S&P Global platform. You will also be managing parts of our suite of core capabilities to deliver real client value.

Successful candidates will combine an understanding of the financial data and concepts with experience building and working with complicated technical systems. In addition, candidates should have experience building and working with a global team, be highly self-motivated with the ability to execute independently.

You will have high level of attention to detail to identify to dependencies and impacts of product decisions
Serving as project owner for multiple high profile, high impact projects for the Office & Screening platforms
Accountable for developing product vision and strategy for the Office & Screening platform from concept through launch
Overseeing Product Owners on one or more agile scrum teams
Envisioning new products, validating ideas with users and contributing to user stories and wireframes
Overseeing test plan creation & execution, including participation in product testing;
Interacting with client support, product managers and end users to inform and support the product roadmap for Office and Screener capabilities
Mentoring, coaching and developing your team as manager
What We're Looking For:
BA/BS in finance, business, mathematics, engineering or related fields;
5+ years of relevant work experience;
High level of expertise in MS Excel and financial modeling
Experience and passion for the Agile scrum process;
Demonstrated ability to drive execution of large-scale initiatives within a complex organizational structure;
Demonstrated ability to build and manage a team;
Demonstrated ability to understand technical product challenges and contribute to defining and communicating solutions;
A professional, highly dedicated, detail-oriented and energetic personality with the ability to work and thrive in a team environment;
Demonstrated ability to create and delivery complex product solutions;
Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas effectively including to senior business and technical audiences
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $82,600 to $230,200. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus/a sales commission plan.
