The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a Wound Healing Solutions Account Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Selling Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) and other focused products to achieve financial and strategic goals within an assigned territory.
This role will act as the primary sales representative for 3M in acute care settings to influence the adoption and continued usage of 3M Wound Healing Solutions products.
Driving 3M Medical Device Sales revenue by developing and managing relationships with key customer decision-makers including clinical, procurement, and materials management staff.
Identifying growth plans through customer/product knowledge, territory analysis, and opportunity assessment
Collaborating with Clinical Consultants, Medical Key Account Managers, Marketing, and distribution partners to grow sales for the Medical Solutions Division
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Three (3) years of sales and/or work experience in the medical field in a private, public, government, or military environment
Current and Valid Drivers license due to this position may require driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Sales experience calling on Surgeons, Operating Room staff, WOCN's and Nurse Educators in the acute care setting
Demonstrated track record of success in hospital, pharma, and/or business-to-business sales
Experience with navigating new product introductions and the value analysis review process
Completion of a formal sales training program
Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology, processes, and procedures
Knows and understands industry standards and guidelines (NPIAP, AORN, CDC, WHO, WOCN)
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.
Travel: May include up to 15% domestic
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
