As a(n) Clinical Specialist – Vascular Access, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Providing clinical and technical support to account managers and customers on the products under the Vascular Access, Acute Care, and additional specialties within the Medical Solutions Division (MSD) on a variety of moderately complex issues related to marketed products
Collaborating with account managers on clinical/sales joint calls requiring in depth technical and clinical evidence discussions with nurses, physicians, infection control, and other key hospital and out of hospital customers.
Training end-users on 3M products for evaluations or conversions. Presenting Continuing Education programs on relevant and prioritized content and participates in professional associations
Supporting product evaluations with follow-up calls, troubleshooting and data analysis
Contributing to the advancement of regional opportunities to defend existing business or win new business
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position (if applicable)
Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Three (3) combined years experience of vascular access and/or critical care nursing in a private, public, government or military environment
Current, Valid Driver’s license is required, as you will be issued a company vehicle for this position (if applicable)
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Previous medical sales support experience that includes public speaking
Certification(s) that include: VA-BC™-Vascular Access Certification Corporation, Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI®)-Infusion Nurses Society and/or Acute/Critical Care Nursing (CCRN®)-American Association of Critical-Care Nurses
Active member of Association for Vascular Access (AVA), Infusion Nurses Society (INS) and/or Association of Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC
Travel: May include up to 80% domestic
