The Consumer Data and Engagement Platform (CDEP)
The CDEP group works across the CSBB, Consumer Lending, and Wealth and Investment Management lines of business to develop coordinated strategies for growth in each of Wells Fargo's customer segments. The team is responsible for designing seamless, engaging customer experiences across products and channels, and building the next-generation digital, data and analytics, and functional capabilities required to deliver toward these objectives.
The Consumer Data Products function within CDEP aims to build a strong, centralized ecosystem to support the data needs of the consumer LOBs. This includes the build out of a common data platform (Consumer Analytics Platform, a.k.a. CAP), utilities (e.g., eligibility, transactional, etc.) and analytical capabilities to enable business priorities/use cases.
The Product Lead of Cross Channel Analytics Utility will report to the Head of Consumer Data Products and be responsible for discovering, defining, and delivering Cross Channel Analytics Utility to support Data Products use cases. This leader will participate in and provide expert input on new use case intake, data products roadmap definition, and other critical business processes in addition to the key responsibilities listed below.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities include the following:
Demonstrate data products and technology thought leadership; develop productive relationships with key data users such as Consumer Lending LOB, and build strong sponsorship of the Utility strategy and roadmap
Lead a team of Product Managers and Analysts to execute on the Utility product strategy and roadmap; Employ modern methodologies of customer discovery, product discovery, product definition, product planning, and agile product delivery
Set and maintain a comprehensive vision, strategy, implementation approach of the Utility platform that is consistent with our holistic Data Products strategy, especially to the CAP platform roadmap and strategy
Develop, refine, and manage the Utility roadmap to meet potential data users’ business needs using value delivery approach, value-based prioritization, and informed by current and emerging technology trends
Work with technology, architecture, data science, EPM, and other functional leaders to develop an effective product delivery engagement and interaction model to facilitate the Utility delivery; Oversee the delivery of the Utility functionalities and roadmap
Develop a deep understanding of the data, analytics, and integration needs of LOB partners to inform the Utility roadmap and architecture design
Act as a catalyst to socialize the Utility capabilities, features, use case studies and other relevant artifacts to advance Data Products value delivery to the enterprise
Collaborate and coordinate with executives and key leaders to deliver on committed strategic objectives
Develop and stand up a high performing Utility Product Management team of Product Managers and Business Analysts. Attract, sustain, and develop elite talent, build collaborative, high-performing teams, and foster a strong product culture oriented towards value delivery
Participate in and provide expert insights into the overall Data Products Intake and Prioritization process
Manage individuals and managers of large team of individuals and matrixed teams focused on value implementation of data products related business initiatives and activities
Ensure technology partners are informed by business requirements, including data persistence, transformation, standardization, lineage/ traceability, conformance and analytical reporting needs, and implemented in accordance to committed timelines
The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership and credibility with a proven ability to influence broadly across a matrixed organization, create engagement, and drive results. This executive will be articulate and have strong interpersonal effectiveness with an impeccable reputation for integrity, accuracy, consistency, and business acumen. Key areas of experience include financial services, product management, and product leadership.

15+ years of experience in the following functional areas: data/technology strategy and large/ complex implementations, business technology solutions, data streaming, warehousing, architecture and systems integration, with a clear track record of building innovative, customer-facing capabilities
Expert level knowledge of product management, user-centric product development and delivery, and analytics platform development and delivery
Prior experience managing an at-scale Product Management organization, preferably over a long duration of increasing responsibility; Proven track record of leadership overseeing multiple managers and large teams with diverse and complex areas of accountability
Experience defining, documenting, and implementing business requirements, policies, procedures and processes; Ability to balance short-term value delivery to the business with long-term efficiency and governance objective
Experience with data management best practices and disciplines including data governance, data architecture, data quality, analytics and business intelligence
Experience with Banking, Finance, Risk, Regulatory Reporting data platforms and technologies, and experience addressing data related requirements of internal stakeholders
Broad experience with Banking applications, products, technology architecture and systems integration experience in consumer and small business banking, consumer lending, and wealth and investment management

Experience creating strategic plans for enterprise wide business initiatives
Track record of building real-time and batch data utilities carrying both on-US and off-US data; Knowledge of modern data technologies such as Kafka and Spark
Experience with Cloud-first data architecture
Experience presenting to operating committee members, boards and on industry forums
