Job Description As a member of Enterprise Analytics team supporting the Enterprise in our cloud endeavors, you will be responsible to build and deliver advanced data operation and data analytic solutions based on team priorities and needs of CVS Health, which will be part of an integrated ecosystem application. We are seeking a senior software developer with solid application development skill and experience to build and maintain business functions in python language to satisfy the business requirement on a very dynamic Agile environment What you will be doing: â¢ Build and maintain business functions with PySpark library with platform independency by using Python Language. â¢ Integrate business logic solution with PySpark Framework running on Azure Databricks, GCP dataproc, and On-prem Spark environment. â¢ Integrate business logic with upstream and downstream systems and applications, including RDBMS, File system, Hive, Delta lake, Azure Data Lake, Azure Event Grid, Azure Function, Azure Event Hub, etc. â¢ Cooperate with PySpark Framework backbone developers to integrate the business logic python program to be plug and play with PySpark Framework. â¢ Build and maintain DevOps process to integrate the CI/CD pipeline through Jenkins, Gitlab, Nexus Repo, checkmarkrx to ensure development and deployment integration and quality control with automated testing and security governance. â¢ Publish data processing and modeling result/dataset to RDBMs on Azure SQL solution and generate microservice through restful Azure Function API. â¢ Manage and maintain the Data bricks job execution through Azure job scheduler and/or other orchestration tools. â¢ Build and manage Terraform based infrastructure as code for automatic environment In addition, you will work closely with Enterprise Data Stewards that support data sources and data warehouses across the CVS Health enterprise. You will use your strong written and technical documentation experience to spearhead communications in a user-friendly language to departmental subject matter experts regarding data stewardship issues, policies, processes, data inquires and will participate in data anomaly remediation. Your business analysis skills will be used in source integration projects ensuring the highest level of quality, security, and maintenance of data. You will help guide the business decision making process to ensure the highest level of accuracy for patient data matching ensuring the lowest level of under/over match across patient records.
Key Responsibilities include
-Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and facilitating workshops to gather business and nonfunctional requirements using Waterfall and Agile methodologies -Leverages technology skills, and business domain knowledge to drive technology-enabled strategic transformation. Develops strategies that optimize the use of technology to transform capabilities and unlock business value -Design and develop complex data processes using data management tools to process large volume of data and create aggregate tables and analytical datasets -Perform Quality Control functions including built-in QC checks to validate the created data assets are accurate and align with business operations and expectations -Being a business owner/SME of Patient Master Data and Patient Stewardship; -Leading data integration projects across multiple source systems; -Identifying, documenting, and resolving data quality issues related to high value projects and core business data; -Providing recommendations for data quality and process improvements for source systems and data warehouse platforms; -Performing root cause analysis and investigating data errors or anomalies; -Participating in application validation and User Acceptance Testing efforts as they pertain to reporting, data, and metrics; -Collaborating directly with business data owners and business analysts to establish quality business rules that will provide the foundation of the enterprisesâ™ data quality improvement plan;
Required Qualifications Bachelorâ™s Degree in Computer Science, Applied Math, Operation Research, Statistics, Health Policy, or other related field; or Advanced Degree â¢ 2+ years of professional, hands-on data management/operations and/or analytic experience â¢ 3+ years of professional, hands-on building enterprise level application with full stack experience including data preparation, data processing, data publication and consumption with UI and microservice. â¢ 2+ years of experience in building enterprise level solution on Azure cloud environment with Azure Function, Azure Databricks, Azure Event Hub, Azure Event Grid, Azure data lake, Azure Data factory â¢ 1+ year of experience on hands-on coding in python and/or pyspark on Azure Databricks environment
Preferred Qualifications â¢ Certification in Azure, databricks, BigData, and/or other cloud solution â¢ Experience on Underwriting Business Domain â¢ Experience on Reverse engineering on Excel Macro and VBA function solution
Education Bachelorâ™s Degree in Computer Science, Applied Math, Operation Research, Statistics, Health Policy, or other related field; or Advanced Degree
