The S&P Global Market Intelligence Cloud Enablement team works across the division to implement a cohesive strategy, to define best practices, and to drive efficient use of the cloud. We do that through a combination of building tools, managing metrics, implementing governance controls and evangelizing for best practice adoption across the division. This role will be an essential influencer to help drive the overall enterprise cloud strategy.
You are a seasoned and senior individual contributor. You are focused on demonstrating leadership skills and driving security practices through automated CI/CD pipelines, assist Development teams with reviewing findings, working with Service Providers, like WiPro, and translating Corporate standards into actionable projects and solutions. You know how to prioritize work with application owners to plan and implement those solutions. You are willing to roll up your sleeves and lead by example. You have strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills. You have strong written and verbal communications skills to effectively manage contending priorities in a fast-moving environment. You are a self-motivated initiative with drive and passion for getting things done and have the ability to translate ambiguity into meaningful actions. You pride yourself in being an energetic self-starter who shows personal initiative to lead teams and show them the way to success.
About the Role
Partners closely with the scrum teams, DevOps leads, Product Development managers, and Product Managers to architect and deliver solutions in the cloud.
Aggressively eliminate technical debt by continuously improving existing solutions.
Document run books and trains others to help operationalize and automate solutions.
Works across engineering teams to prioritize flaws and with external entities to respond to Operational issues and concerns.
Continuously identifies areas needing improvement, creates action plans, and executes to implement changes in a timely manner.
Creates a collaborative environment that reinforces a culture of innovation, ownership, transparency, and alignment to business objectives, balancing risk tradeoffs with options and data.
5-7 years of documented enterprise IT and Cloud work experience.
Strong sense of Agile practices, task prioritization and ability to resolve or mitigate blockers to project delivery.
A strong level of technical depth in the Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Consistent track record of developing and implementing automation technology and process integrations with CI/CD pipelines.
Hands on experience with common CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Terraform, Git, and Ansible.
Experience with best practices for monitoring in an IaaS environment.
Experience with complex SaaS and Corporate IT services environments.
Excellent written visualization and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills. Ability to present raw data and present it in reports that can be easily digested by Developers and Business Analysts.
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $100,800 to $230,200. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
