The Regional Senior Director of Logistics Operations, is responsible for the overall performance of multiple assigned distribution center buildings. You will lead operational activities to achieve profit and expense goals, provide the highest possible service to the market customer base, ensure compliance with corporate policies and government regulations, and provide a work-environment conducive to superior productivity, safety, quality and morale. You will create a first-class employee experience with a focus on talent development, employee engagement, staffing and retention, and learning and training.
Responsibilities â¢ Drive talent development, employee engagement, colleague retention, and learning at all levels within the assigned distribution centers to create robust talent pipelines â¢ Partner with various teams such as industrial engineering, asset protection, human resources, and corporate to drive efficiencies and innovation within the entre distribution network â¢ Develop and drive both operational and people strategies for assigned DC region â¢ Ensure timely, secure, accurate deliveries of DC products/services to through the optimum deployment of courier/delivery resources within expense/profit target parameters â¢ Deliver all supply chain KPIâ™s and targeted goals and objectives â¢ Consistently see opportunities to improve supply chain execution and performance to reduce cost â¢ Champion innovation by bringing ideas to market in an agile way, while balancing growth potential against financial risk and incremental cost to the organization â¢ Responsible for providing inspirational leadership to all colleagues in the distribution buildings â¢ Ensures the use of recruitment activities which result in the selection of qualified, superior candidates â¢ Ensures compliance with all government regulations and statutes in the area of employment, wage & hour, and EEO/AA â¢ Demonstrate the company's core values: Innovation, Collaboration, Caring, Integrity, Accountability
This opportunity requires travel to multiple distribution centers across several states, up to 75% of the time.
Required Qualifications â¢ 7+ years prior leadership experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment â¢ Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, per business needs â¢ Deep understanding of the industry and shown experience delivering results â¢ Desire to work in a fast paced environment â¢ Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple concurrent initiatives that have significant financial impact â¢ Ability to analyze information effectively and consistently and make sound business decisions â¢ Ambitious about thinking big, and seeks accountability in challenging the business environment â¢ Demonstrates resiliency for self and team â¢ Strong leadership skills with shown ability to build and lead high-performing teams â¢ Ability to organize defined work streams, handle stage gate development process, balance workloads across resources, develop team members and inspire high performance â¢ Knowledge of MS Office such as Word and Excel â¢ Knowledge of WMS

Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree
Education Bachelor's degree, preferably in supply chain, leadership, or engineering. Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
