You are responsible, through directly supporting an account management team, promoting and consultatively selling a portfolio of products to current and target customers within our Non-Financial Corporates segment. You will identify key decision makers and influencers with target prospects and execute sales strategy collaboratively with account managers, client services, product management, operations, technology, and legal to optimize product and service delivery.

Working closely with the account management team to identify new opportunities within the designated territory and nurture/grow the existing relationships
Establish appointments with new potential users, senior level executives, and current budget/stakeholders/ product users
Stay current with industry news and issues to understand the potential impact to your current clients for finding new opportunities.
Coordinate and provide sales demonstrations and trainings
Work alongside team to negotiate contract terms and pricing.
Maintain focused approach to daily activity pipelines and systems based workflow (i.e. Salesforce.com)
Develop industry specific knowledge necessary to have credible diagnostic conversations
Engage in team selling to existing accounts in conjunction with account managers and product specialists.
Understand and analyze client usage trends on existing services to diagnose new product sales or areas of potential growth in existing services
Relay product feedback in the form of enhancement requests to product specialist to continually evolve our offering.
Gather necessary information on clients in contract renewals and assist in planning.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Experience in a client services, sales and product support role/setting.
Goal and action orientated, with ability to work towards revenue targets within a business development environment
Interest in solving problems for clients through the delivery of financial market data solutions and analytical tools.
Experience in dealing with challenging situations, i.e. objection handling, overcoming gatekeepers, etc.
Strong MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills are required, and any knowledge of CRM databases (such as Salesforce.com) would be advantageous
Strong interpersonal communication skills, and confident in delivering product demonstrations.
