Manage architectural design reviews from test fits through construction documents and oversee all selections and installations to comply with workplace standards. Lead and execute the architectural plans for assigned projects.
Directs and oversees test fits of new facilities.
Oversees architectural design and reviews drawings at each design gate for compliance.
Directs the development and modification of new task orders.
Responsible for managing the delivery of all reporting that will be used as management decision support tools for forecasting space needs (business demand).
Develops, oversees and executes migration and phasing plans for relocation and sequencing based on the physical space requirements.
Executes change management process for unplanned and special project requests.
Communicates recommendations in written reports and graphic presentations. Produces graphic charts and diagrams for visual display of quantitative and qualitative information.
Illustrates organizational, operational and functional relationships that pose physical and spatial impacts.
Generates conceptual solutions that respond to client's spatial requirements, physical planning constraints and corresponding IT, HR and compliance requirements.
Evaluates alternative scenarios against criteria for success. Establishes project goals and objectives, including but not limited to, schedule and budget parameters.
Participate in industry conferences to maintain awareness of industry trends and bring leading-edge design to McKesson.
Research and communicate industry metrics and how they impact practices.
Provide post occupancy surveys to ascertain lessons learned.
Minimum of 4 years of related design management experience and/or training.
Experience in Healthcare, Office and Industrial design preferred.
AutoCAD drawing experience is preferred.
Travel will be required, 25%-50% in US and Canada.
EDUCATION and PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/Bang/BArch) required from 4-year College or University or equivalent experience.
Professional Registration in Architecture preferred.
Certification in Corporate Real Estate, LEED or Facilities Management preferred.
