The Software Manager of Quality Management Systems (QMS) will be responsible for the overall mapping, design, development, implementation, and optimization of the Manufacturing Systems applications pertaining to the Quality area of our Mexico breweries with connections to our United States distribution network. The manager will be responsible for the entire project life cycle from conception through commissioning.Â The manager will be responsible for planning and execution of all projects to achieve and maintain solutions that provide value add solution for the manufacturing(operations), manufacturing services(maintenance), and quality teams. This is a technical role that must be familiar with front end applications and back-end programming to make all aspects of the solution function. The manager must be a forward thinker who plans for potential future operational and application life cycle changes.Â The key areas of focus for this manager will be Glass Inspection systems (Tiama IQ Scan), Track and Trace (Siemens Trusted Traceability), Keg Inspection Application (Rotech Keg), and potential future Quality Management Systems such as Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and mobile paperless workflow applications. The manager must have a strong sense of technology & automation and leverage those skills to achieve seamless integrations with the breweryâs overall supply chain system.
Responsible for the management and prioritization of all Beer Division Quality Manufacturing Systems Projects and Initiatives, from R&D to implementation.
Responsible for the timely development and maintenance of all information relating to Quality Management System projects including, project definition, development, project planning, implementation & operating standards, specifications, and procedures.
Identify quality application initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the business.
Review and understand new quality application innovations and processes.
Implementation & Execution (60%)
Review Quality Management System performance and KPIs in coordination with our Quality business partners
Responsible for integration of new automated quality inspection systems of inbound glass bottles, complete supply chain end to end traceability relative to quality management data.
Responsible for defining new systems administration functions including user provisioning, patching policy, and other governance policies to be applied to quality software applications.Â
Responsible for coordinating data flow relative to traceability of material through entire supply chain in USA and Mexico
Focus on customer service and delivering against companyâs needs to maintain operational and quality excellence.
This position will start as an individual contributor role but is expected to grow into a people management position based on business needs.
Bachelorâs Degree in Engineering, Electrical, Software, or Information Systems preferred
5 to 10 years of automation/software industry specific experience.
Demonstrates leadership and has experience in managing people.
Able to identify and analyze problems, recommending and implementing flexible and creative solutions based on customer needs.
Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and manage multiple tasks as projects, ensuring completion to meet deadlines.
Must be proficient with Windows and Linux based operating systems as well as proficient with SQL based stored procedures and executable program queries.
Excellent attention to detail on multiple simultaneous tasks
Excellent verbal presentation skills. Excellent written communications skills and ability to document system procedures in an understandable format.
Excellent Visio, MS project, spreadsheet, power point and word-processing skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Willing to travel for extended periods of time. Travel will be heavy in the beginning and then will taper off as project become more stable.
Passport and Visa is a plus
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus

45-50% Travel up front to get integrated into the business, but will drop off to 10-20% of travel based on Project load and requirements
