Responsible for Managing a site QA Team and collaborating with warehouse operational leaders, and staff to effectively implement and execute QA strategies and initiatives to ensure quality assurance and regulatory compliance for RxC 3PL business. Develops and executes functional or departmental action plans to achieve business objectives. Develops performance objectives and metrics to measure efficiency or effectiveness. Resolves escalated issues arising from customers and/or operations requiring coordination with other departments. Analyze reports and recommend corrective actions. Requires knowledge of company, industry, and regulations affecting quality.
Leads RxC 3PL Quality Assurance and Reg. Affairs Teams in the Louisville and Clermont, KY Facilities.
Establishes training programs for staff and 3PL operations team to improve performance capabilities and to ensure relevant knowledge of QA and Regulatory requirements.
Responsible for hiring and developing top tier talent to be best in class performers and to support succession planning
Responsible for communicating performance metric to internal and external stakeholders
Responsible for identifying areas of non-compliance and implementing corrective actions
Collaborates with other RxC 3PL QA and Regulatory Affairs team members to align business practices, understand business trends, and implement corrective actions
Oversee all Quality Assurance process, including but not limited to; product release processes, ensuring each manufacturer's product release process has been correctly followed by the receiving teams in each DC Facility.
Ensures that regulatory and operational requirements are defined, implemented and monitored at the DC. Follows defined process to monitor temperature of refrigerated areas and to document excursions.
Verifies that Operations is maintaining training records for all associates and that all resources have been trained on key SOPs associated with their roles in Louisville and Clermont DC Facilities
Oversees training on warehouse FDA regulatory requirements.
Verifies that all COVID-19 workplace safety processes are followed
Assures that Quality Team Logs all relevant information on site processes, compliance and issues in the respective quality management systems
Creates reports documenting errors and compliances issues, and recommends potential solutions when appropriate
Regularly communicates with the site Operations team to escalate issues and to recognize individual and team compliance
Communicates frequently with the site Quality Assurance Team and Operations Teams to communicate quality issues and successes and to explain/understand new requirements and regulations as they arise
Partners with Operations Team to ensure that all quality goals and procedures are in place and working to meet FDA and Client Contract Compliance
Partners with the Facilities Management and Corp Safety Teams to ensure that the facility meets all temperature, security and safety requirements
Requires 9+ years experience Pharmaceutical distribution or manufacturing experience and 1 year supervisory skills
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Critical Skills and Abilities
Experience with product release and acceptance processes
Experience Leading Teams remotely
Employee training delivery
MasterControl QMS experience desired
Not afraid to speak up and raise issues
Able to deal with complexity
