The Part-time Curriculum Manager will manage all aspects of curriculum processing and reporting, including assisting faculty and deans throughout the curriculum development and revision process, and serving as the Academic Affairs curriculum liaison to internal and external stakeholders. The Part-time Curriculum Manager will work closely with the Chair of the Steering Committee; Offices of the Registrar, Admissions, Financial Aid, Advising, Marketing, and Information Technology; and the Department of Higher Education and accreditors throughout the curriculum development and revision process. The Part-time Curriculum Manager will also maintain and publish the college catalog and serve as the Provost's Office designee as the administrative representative on the Curriculum and Hours governance committee.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist faculty and deans through the curriculum development/change process, including monitoring the accurate and timely completion and filing of curriculum change forms;
Assist with the Department of Higher Education application process for new academic programs;
Report academic program and curriculum changes to Department of Higher Education, New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE), and other offices as applicable;
Oversee development, maintenance and publication of the online College catalog;
Update curriculum sheets and related information on the College's website and online catalog platform;
Submit applicable curriculum change updates to the College's Webmaster to ensure the accuracy of curriculum information on the College's website;
Communicate with offices across the College to ensure that curricular changes are implemented in a timely manner (i.e., Advising, Admissions, Registration, Financial Aid, Academic Achievement Center, Office of Information Technology, and Marketing);
Assist with production of the Academic Calendar and provide input to the Calendar and Hours governance committee;
Provide supplemental support to the Assistant Provost as needed;
Perform other duties as assigned.
