Manager, Compliance and Ethics, Government Contracting will assist in the enhancement and maintenance of the government contracting compliance program for McKesson Medical-Surgical (MMS). The position will be located in one of McKesson's U.S. offices. The Manager will report directly to McKesson's Senior Director, Government Contracting, Compliance & Ethics (within McKesson's General Counsel Organization). The Manager will be responsible for ensuring that MMS has an effective compliance program for its government contracts.
The ideal candidate will have compliance experience in government contracting. He or she will have familiarity with the laws and regulations related to government contracting as well as the demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with large teams consisting of business, legal, compliance, audit and human resources colleagues in a highly-matrixed environment.
Create compliance program around MMS's government contracting, with a focus on investigations, monitoring, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans.
Investigating process breakdowns and identifying root cause
Creating and implementing corrective action plans to mitigate root cause
Building investigations and CAPA process for MMS government contracting program
Building the infrastructure to drive toward compliance
Helping to map out and document processes to ensure the appropriate standards, controls and awareness exist
Undertaking a risk assessment to identify and prioritize key risks
Developing a pulse monitoring program to validate on-going compliance for MMS's largest government customers/contracts
Create reporting/dashboard metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the compliance program
Establish and support effective business processes and controls to ensure the organization is satisfying its government contracting regulatory and compliance obligations including remediating any identified gaps in a timely fashion.
Establish effective partnerships across the business and enabling functions, such as IA, HR, IT, Legal etc.
A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in building, enhancing and maintaining compliance programs focused on government contracting or 5 years of compliance experience, primarily in investigations and building compliance programs.
An outstanding record of academic achievement, including an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
Experience with the relevant laws, rules and regulations.
Experience working collaboratively on cross-functional and cross-divisional teams.
