As an investment information Services Analyst on the Global Client Services (GCS) team, you will work both independently and as part of Capital Group's Investment Operations organization. You will work with Capital's institutional clients, prospects and intermediaries, and support institutional marketing, sales and distribution teams. You will also serve as a general resource to deliver a superior client experience and enable the distribution of Capital Group's investment services globally.
You are based in Los Angeles, and will prepare and deliver reporting of key organizational, investment strategy, and portfolio information directly to clients and intermediaries. You will also partner with senior staff on complex projects and data analysis, as well as identify opportunities to streamline processes, and enhance the client experience.

You will provide comprehensive investment reporting to Capital Group's institutional clients; including results, portfolio characteristics, portfolio attribution, investment commentary and organizational statistics on a reoccurring basis.
You monitor the integrity of information, investigate and resolve discrepancies. Drive continuous improvement efforts to optimize processes and ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
You provide data expertise to Client Service, Data Governance, and Sales and Marketing teams, as well as complex client queries on quantitative data.

You pay strong attention to detail and continuous Improvement
You have 3+ years of relevant experience in the investment industry, financial consulting, with a deep understanding of global equity and fixed income markets, related instruments, and portfolio statistics. Undergraduate degree required. MBA or CFA a plus.
You are proficient in Microsoft Suite. Must be able to perform intermediate to advanced Excel functions (e.g. macros, formulas, vlookups), experience with SQL and Coric or equivalent automated reporting tools preferred.
You are experience Lean, Six Sigma, Agile or equivalent process improvement and management methodology
Database Management creation, implementation and management
You are skilled at fostering positive working relationships and ability to collaborate with others deliverables for projects and business analysis, including requirements gathering, documentation, analysis, testing through implementation, and on-going support with business and IT partners
You have the a bility to problem solve, balance stakeholder needs, and navigate through ambiguity
