The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a Clinical Project Manager, you will independently assume Clinical Research responsibilities related to developing and executing plans for internal and external clinical studies for marketed products, product modifications, or for new products in collaboration with product teams, regulatory, and sales and marketing personnel. You will also have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Leading the activities involved in the development of and carrying out clinical trial research
Implementing global standard operating procedures to ensure good clinical practice and regulatory compliance in all work-related activities
Supporting: Product Development Lab personnel with clinical study and verification testing; Regulatory Affairs colleagues in completion of submissions; and product development teams by collecting clinical trial evidence for both new product development and for evidence for maintaining marketed products
Communicating study results through presentations at technical meeting and may publish in refereed journals
Developing a knowledge and understanding of assigned products, customers, customer needs in areas of responsibility
Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Three (3) years of clinical research experience (trial design, protocol preparation/approval and execution) in a private, public, government or military environment
Three (3) years of experience with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulations (private, public, government or military)
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Master's degree in health-related discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Certification(s) such as: Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) by the Society of Clinical Research Associates and/or ACRP Certified Professional (ACRP-CP(r)) by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals
Experience writing and editing study reports, manuscripts, and collaborating with investigators in publishing study results in peer-reviewed journals
Experience working in the medical device or closely related industry segment
Experience monitoring clinical sites in which research studies are being conducted
Travel: May include upto 15% domestic/international
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
