About the Role: The Enterprise Sales Executive will be a member of the high growth Corporates sales team within S&P Global's Market Intelligence division. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work global, multi-stakeholder deals with a wide range of companies who lead, innovate and disrupt their respective industries. As an Enterprise Sales Executive, you are a critical part of our team's growth. This role will sell SaaS, data feeds and advisory services into both existing relationships and new logos, and as such requires you to be a trusted advisor to deeply understand their unique company challenges and goals. You will consult with customers about the S&P services suite to evangelize solutions that will help them reach their business goals.
What You'll Do: The expectations for Enterprise Sales Executives are high - you will be leading enterprise engagements, focused on topics like Digital Transformation, ESG, FinTech applications and other strategic projects that drive business results. The Enterprise Sales Executive will partner with our Product Specialists and SDR partners to evangelize the S&P vision and account strategy.
Our Enterprise Sales Executives are selling S&P's software, technology and services to Corporations, Tech companies and Professional Service firms. Said differently, you will sell it all while leveraging internal resources from prospect to close.
Here are some of the core responsibilities of the role: * Define and execute account plan for your book of business based on company size, industry and publicly disclosed strategic objectives. * Grow a defined book of business, consisting of both current accounts and new logos. * Manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously. * Collaborate and work with different members of the account team (Product Specialists, Marketing, Customer Success Managers, Leadership, etc.) to recommend custom solutions for customers * Be entrepreneurial -- stay current with industry news to develop marketing initiatives and create client events to attract prospects * Selling on value and return on investment vs. technical functionality
What We're Looking For: * 7+ years of experience in SaaS enterprise sales with a focus on solution selling and six figure deals * Experience in managing and growing a book of business within large, multinational organizations * Strong negotiation skills to close strategic deals * Willingness to approach every problem as an entrepreneur with grit, creativity, and persistence * Proficiency in MS Office and sales enablement tools (Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, SalesLoft, etc.) * Exceptional presentation, storytelling, and interpersonal skills with an Executive audience
