Job Description The Pricing Senior Manager - Patient Recruitment will develop and lead the strategic pre-sales pricing and proposal team for a rapidly growing Patient Recruitment Team, serving a highly complex and demanding global pharmaceutical, government, and research clientele.
What you'll do: â¢ Establish the strategic pricing function employing industry best practices, developing a framework for deploying competitive pricing across the Patient Recruitment product portfolio â¢ Serve as organizationâ™s subject matter expert and standards enforcement, applying and enforcing the businessâ™ pricing standards across all commercial opportunities. â¢ Establish best in class pricing standards via internal institutional knowledge and external pricing intelligenceâ”through marketplace review, conducting and deploying direct market research, and other sources as necessaryâ”to understand the marketâ™s expectations and ways CVS can price competitively. â¢ Develop, deliver, maintain, and constantly refresh dynamic pricing frameworks across 20+ therapeutic areas, and a dense and varied toolkit of project structures, service offerings, patient engagement techniques, and channels incorporating various CVS Health Enterprise entities; guiding pricing frameworks to support strategic pricing where no two studies are identical â¢ Build and develop a high performing team charged with owning and influencing internal stakeholders at the leadership level
Working closely with operations leaders, enterprise analytics, sales, contracting, and legal teams, the Patient Recruitment Pricing Senior Manager will steward the bidding rules and processes that the teams will follow for all new commercial opportunities. Further responsibilities will include developing financial reporting for ongoing projects to track margin and identify drivers that influence revenue achievement.
The Pricing Senior Manager - Patient Recruitment role will require a mix of strategic leadership, impact, and influence of highly cross-functional internal stakeholders at senior levels, and process enforcement in the overall proposal process.
Required Qualifications - 8 years of experience working in healthcare, healthcare consulting, pharmaceutical company, clinical research (including patient recruitment, real world evidence, study conduct) OR equivalent experience in pricing role in relevant adjacent industry - 5 years of direct experience in setting, negotiating, managing (such as in business development), or overseeing pricing for clinical research activities - 5 years of experience in process development, deployment, or innovation; including enforcing policies on an ongoing basis - 3 years of management experience leading direct reports

Preferred Qualifications - Direct experience pricing patient recruitment offerings or reviewing and accepting pricing proposals as a buyer. - Direct experience in patient recruitment business - Experience negotiating patient recruitment contracts with major pharmaceutical or government clients - Impacting and influencing leaders at the senior level (VP, SVP, etc.)
