Corporate Digital Team Senior Manager, Web Product Owner

The Enterprise Digital Team is responsible for unifying the digital voice of S&P Global. The team works closely with each division to create the web presence for the company, as well as execute on digital campaigns, be they social, SEM or display.
As a Senior Manager, Web Product Owner, you will be responsible for executing, with Technology teams, the end-to-end business requirements of website rollouts and enhancements. This role is vital as it contributes to the intricate details of each division's business goals and translates them into technical requirements for Technology teams to create engaging and effective websites.

Responsibilities:

Serve as an Agile Product Owner to translate complex business needs into deliverable features/user stories on behalf of stakeholders and prioritize them within the product roadmap.

Maintain website product roadmap for cycle planning based on corporate site and division site stakeholder inputs.

Participate in the Agile development process with scrum team(s) to innovate and deliver robust capabilities and web products.

Create comprehensive web architectural designs in partnership with Technology teams to solve for current business needs, while ensuring scalability and alignment with the strategic vision.

Coordinate and prioritize requests among multiple Scrum teams and Product Owners working on a common product backlog. Ensure user stories are complete and meet the definition of ready.

Plan and execute extensive User Acceptance Testing, as well as Post Implementation Validations, to ensure successful releases of projects.

Gather business requirements for iterative or foundational website changes and execute those changes, be it in the existing CMS, or through an Agile release.

Function as the primary interface of the business with the scrum teams to help correctly prioritize the backlog.

Develop strong working relationships and provide regular communication with all divisional stakeholders (Tech and Business) to keep them appraised of project progress.
What we're looking for:
-
At least 4+ years of experience in business architecture / analysis, capability design, reengineering, IT consulting or other relevant experience (Experience in B2B industries is desirable).

Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, or similar technical field required (MBA or Graduate technical degree is desirable).

At least 2+ years of experience with rapid and iterative software development methodologies (Agile preferred).

Sufficient technical acumen and knowledge of web content management systems as to execute changes to existing web properties.

Proven track record in defining winning product constructs and delivering a product vision and roadmap.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail - ability to engineer solutions and crystallize technical requirements from business needs.

Proven ability to influence others without direct authority, within a matrix organization, with strong track record of developing effective relationships across cross functional teams.

Detail oriented, understand how small product and system changes have direct customer- and business-facing impact.

Sense of urgency and enthusiasm in developing a best-in-class product.

Strong communication and negotiation skills to help fairly and rationally solve conflicting priorities.
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $83,200 to $172,800. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
